Background
Broadstone Court and that portion of Ironstone Drive located in Section Three,

Broadfield Subdivision has thirty-three residential lots. The streets have been

improved and meet required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Broadstone Court and that

portion of Ironstone Drive located in Section Three, Broadfield Subdivision. A

description of the property is as follows: All of those lots, tracts and

parcels of land, situate, lying and being in land lots 59 & 60, 9th Land

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and comprising all of Ironstone

Drive from the existing terminus of said right-of-way to the existing terminus

of Boadfield Drive and all of Broadstone Court from the existing terminus of

said right-of-way in that certain subdivision known as Section Three,

Broadfield, as said street sections are shown upon a map or plat of said

subdivision entitled "SECTION THREE, BROADFIELD, Lying in Land Lots 59 & 60,

9th Land District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Moon,

Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc. dated October 17, 2003, recorded in Plat Book 151,

Pages 31, 32 and 33, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee

County, Georgia to which reference is hereby made for a more particular

description of the streets hereby conveyed.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Broadstone Court and that portion of

Ironstone Drive located in Section Three, Broadfield Subdivision.
