Background

The six parcels are adjacent to City owned Property(see attached map). The six

parcels of property are fronting Riverside Avenue consisting of .67 +/- acres

of land a/k/a Tax Map Parcels 007-12-007,8,9,10,11 &12, Columbus, Georgia (see

attached map).

Analysis

The property consists of six parcels of property lying near the Riverwalk.

Subject property is zoned R-4.

Financial Considerations

The value of the property is $62,000.00. The Seller agreed to accept payment

in the amount of $62,000.00. The property will be transferred by Warranty Deed

with all encumbrances and liens being paid by the Seller.

Legal Considerations

Council must approve entering into a Contract in accordance with Columbus

Charter Section 7-500.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the attached Resolution approving the purchase of the above identified

property.
