Approval is requested to declare 7.98 +/- acres identified on Tax Map 138 002 \n \n 001 a/k/a 7330 Midland Road from the Columbus Water Works Inventory as surplus \n \n and dispose of said property(see attachment).

Background

The Columbus Water Works acquired the property to accommodate the Randall Creek

Pump Station on Midland Road. It has been determined it would be in the best

interest of the Columbus Water Works to sell the excess property a the

appraised fair market value.

Analysis

The property consists of a site area of 7.98 +/- acres. Subject property is

zoned A-1.

Financial Considerations

The Columbus Water Works will reimburse the City for all related expenses.

Legal Considerations

Approve the attached Resolution approving the sale of the above identified

property from the Columbus Water Works inventory.

Recommendations/ Actions

Council must approve the sale of this property by Resolution. This procedure

is required by Columbus Charter Section 7-501. Newspaper advertisements shall

be published in accordance with Columbus Charter Section 7-501.
