Background
The portion of Meadow Valley Court located in Highlands Phase Seven, Garrett

Creek Subdivision has fifteen residential lots. The street has been improved

and meets required specifications for acceptance by the City
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying the portion of Orchard Hill

Drive and the portion of Meadow Valley Court located in Highlands Phase Seven,

Garrett Creek Subdivision. A description of the property is as follows: All

those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Land Lot 160 of the

9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as extension to

Meadow Valley Court as said road and rights-of-way are shown on the map or plat

entitled "Highlands Phase Seven, Garrett Creek Subdivision, Part of land Lot

160, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Hobbs Smith

& Associates, Inc., dated December 18th, 2003, said revised plat recorded in

Plat Book 150, page 102, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of

Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council
