Background
Section Two, Grandtree Subdivison, currently consists of twenty-seven

residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the required

specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Grandtree Way and Grandtree

Court located in Section Two, Grandtree Subdivision. "All those tracts of land

situate, lying and being in Part of Land Lots 27 & 38, 18th District, Muscogee

County, Georgia, more particularly described as follows: All of Grandtree Way

and all of Grandtree Court lying in Section Two, Grandtree, as shown on the

plat references below. The above described roads are shown on the map or plat

entitled "Section Two GRANDTREE, Lying in Part of Land Lots 27 & 38, 18th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia," prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason &

Vinson, Inc., dated May 28, 2003, and recorded in Plat Book 149, Folio 35 &

36, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia, and to which map or plat reference is hereby made for a more

particular description of the streets hereby conveyed."
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting the deed to Grandtree Way and Grandtree

Court located in Section Two, Grandtree Subdivison.
