Background
Section Four, Peppertree II currently consists of 10 residential lots. The

streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance

by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been submitted conveying to the City, Peppertree Court and Saffron

Court located in Section Four, Peppertree II. Description of property is as

follows: All those tracts and parcels of land situate, lying and being in

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and comprising of Peppertree Court and that

portion of Saffron Court from the existing right-of-way in that certain

subdivision known as Section Four, Peppertree II, as said portions of said

streets are shown upon a map or plat of said subdivision entitled "Section

Four, Peppertree II, Lying in Land Lots 42, 43, 58 & 59, 8th District,

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia" dated November 12, 2001, prepared by Moon,

Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., and recorded in Plat Book 145, Folios 9, 10 and

11, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior court of Muscogee County,

Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written Resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting Peppertree Court and Saffron Court located in

Section Four, Peppertree II.
