Background
Sonoma Court and Portion of Sonoma Pointe Drive located in Section Two, Sonoma

Pointe has thirty-six residential lots. The streets have been improved and met

the required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Sonoma Court and Portion of

Sonoma Pointe Drive located in Section Two, Sonoma Pointe. A description of

the property is as follows: All those lots, tracts, and parcels of land lying

and being in Land Lot 31 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia, and shown as addition to Sonoma Pointe Drive and Sonoma Court as said

roads and right-of-way are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section Two,

Sonoma Pointe, Lying in Land Lot 31, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia,", prepared by Hobbs Smith & Associates, Inc., dated September 27,

2004, said plat recorded in Plat Book 152, page 101, in the Office of the Clerk

of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Sonoma Court and Portion of Sonoma

Pointe Drive located in Section Two, Sonoma Pointe.
