Background

The first Cooperation Agreement between the City and the Housing Authority

allowing for payment in lieu of taxes was entered into in 1938, and amended in

1945 and 1952.

Analysis

The Agreement is mandated to insure the Housing Authority receives HUD funding.

Financial Considerations

There is no additional financial burden on the City.
