Background
Mitchell Ridge Place and Mitchell Ridge Court located in Section Three,

Mitchell Ridge Subdivision has twenty-eight residential lots. The streets have

been improved and meets required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Mitchell Ridge Place and

Mitchell Ridge Court located in Section Three, Mitchell Ridge Subdivision. A

description of the property is as follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels

of land lying and being in Land Lot 55 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee

County, Georgia, and shown as all of Mitchell Ridge Place and Mitchell Ridge

Court as said road and rights-of-way are shown on the map or plat entitled

"Section Three, Mitchell Ridge, Lying in Land Lot 55, 9th District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Hobbs Smith & Associates, Inc., dated

December 23th, 2003, said revised plat recorded in Plat Book 150, page 107, in

the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Mitchell Ridge Place and Mitchell

Ridge Court located in Section Three, Mitchell Ridge Subdivision.
