Background
That portion of Sonoma Pointe Drive located in Section Three, Sonoma Pointe has

eighteen residential lots. The street has been improved and meets the required

specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Sonoma Pointe

Drive located in Section Three, Sonoma Pointe. A description of the property

is as follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in

Land Lot 31 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown

as addition to Sonoma Pointe Drive as said right-of-way are shown on the map or

plat entitled "Section Three, Sonoma Pointe, Lying in Land Lot 31, 9th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Hobbs Smith &

Associates, Inc., dated June 1, 2005, said plat recorded in Plat Book 155, page

13, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of Sonoma Pointe Drive

located in Section Three, Sonoma Pointe.
