Recommendation
Approve the attached resolution to declare 624, 620, 618 and 616 Veterans \n \n Parkway, 2120 13th Street, 1266 Cedar Avenue, 2067 Commerce Street, 46 and 3321 \n \n North Lumpkin Road as surplus, to advertise and sell said properties, in \n \n accordance with Section 7-501 of the City Code in Columbus, Muscogee County, \n \n Georgia, (see attached maps and property list).

Background
The Columbus Consolidated Government through Tax Liens, Purchases and/or gifts

acquired the subject properties. Full disclosure will be made on all

properties prior to sale.
Analysis
Prior to acquisition or control, by the City, the properties had been used for

residential and/or commercial purposes. Subject properties presently follow

current area zoning guidelines. It has been determined through coordination

with other departments, that the City no longer needs subject properties in the

foreseeable future.
Financial Considerations
Subject properties will be advertised at Fair Market Value. The property and

any related improvements would be returned to the tax digest roles.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement
Legal Considerations
Subject properties will be sold in accordance with Section 7-501 of the City

Code. Property will be sold retaining easements for combination utilities,

storm and sanitation pipes.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the attached resolution to declare properties as listed on the attached

spreadsheet and identified on the attached tax maps as surplus and to advertise

and sell said properties in accordance with Section 7-501 of the City Code.
