Section 5, Stone Creek Subdivision, currently consists of 23 residential

lots. The streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been submitted conveying to the City Creekstone Court and Stone

Creek Lane located in Section 5, Stone Creek Subdivision. Description of the

property is as follows: "All those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and

being in Land Lot 34 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia,

and shown as all of Creekstone Court and Stone Creek Lane as said roads and

rights-of-way are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section Five, Stone Creek,

Lying in Land Lot 34, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia",

prepared by Hobbs Smith & Associates, Inc., dated January 2, 2002, said plat

recorded in Plat Book 145, Page 44, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior

Court of Muscogee County, Georgia."
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written Resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting the deed to Creekstone Court and Stone Creek

Lane located in Section 5, Stone Creek Subdivision.
