Background
The cul-de-sac portion of Tower Road will be used as an access to Tower Court,

a Private Street. The street has been improved and meets the required

specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying the cul-de-sac portion of Tower

Road. A description of the property is as follows: All those lots, tracts or

parcels of land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia,

being known and distinguished as Parcel "A" and Parcel "B", as said parcels

appear upon a map of plat entitled "Survey of Tower Road Extension, Lying in

Land lot 40, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", made by Thomas

L. French, Jr., dated March 4, 2005, and recorded in Plat Book 154, Page 83,

Muscogee County, Georgia records, to which reference is made for a more

particular description.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to the cul-de-sac portion of Tower

Road, Parcel "A" and Parcel "B" each containing .0933 acre.
