Approval is requested for the acceptance of a deed to the that portion of \n \n Crossbow Drive and the Detention Basin located in Section Eleven, Eagle Pointe.

Background
The portion of Crossbow Drive located in Section Eleven, Eagle Pointe has

thirty-one residential lots. The Owner has maintained the Detention Basin

since its construction. The street and Detention Basin have been improved and

meets the required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Crossbow Drive

and the Detention Basin located in Section Eleven, Eagle Pointe. A description

of the property is as follows: All those tracts and parcels of land situate,

lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and comprising of that

portion of Section Eleven, Eagle Pointe, from the existing right of way of

Crossbow Drive, and the Detention Basin in that certain subdivision known as

Section Eleven, Eagle Pointe, as said portion of said street is shown upon a

map or plat of said subdivision recorded in Plat Book 153, folios 80, 81 & 82

in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of Crossbow Drive and

the Detention Basin located in Section Eleven, Eagle Pointe.
