Background
In 1977 a formal Agreement reserved 29,900.75 sq ft. for use for a road

widening project. Nicholas P. Spano was granted and conveyed the right to

purchase any remaining property not required for rights of way at pre agreed

upon price of $4.00 per sq. ft. (see attached Agreement). This Agreement was

passed on to the current owner. The current owner has requested we honor the

Agreement.
Analysis
The parties mutually agree that the property is not needed for road widening.

However, in the event it is necessary to re-align the intersection , the City

of Columbus, Georgia hereby reserves the right to purchase those land parcels

identified as Parcels I which equals 1,800.72 sq. ft. +/-and Parcels II which

equals 2,779.81 sq. ft. +/- a totaling 4,580.53 sq. ft. +/- (see attached map

marked in yellow) for a pre agreed upon price of $4.00 per sq. ft..
Financial Considerations
The property being conveyed equals 29,900.75 square feet, or .6864 acres @

$4.00 per sq. ft. equaling a sales price of $119,603.00.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement
Legal Considerations
Council must approve the sale of real estate.
