Background
Developer wishes to deed this property to the City due to the size and location

of the property. Also it does not meet zoning requirements for building. This

property is between County Line Road in Muscogee County and the Harris County

Line.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Part of Land Lot 33, 18th

District 0.306 Acres adjacent to County Line Road. A description of the

property is as follows: All those tracts and parcels of land situate, lying

and being in the State of Georgia, County of Muscogee, and City of Columbus,

and being known and designated as 0.306 acres on that certain map or plat

entitled "Right of Way Survey, Part of Land Lot 33, 18th District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia" dated January 10, 2005, made by Moon, Meeks, Mason &

Vinson, Inc., and recorded in Plat Book 154, Folio 37, of the records in the

Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which

plat reference is hereby made for more specific dimensions.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
