Background

Edgar Hughston Builder, Inc. is requesting that the City execute a Quit Claim
Deed for all rights, title and interest the City may have in a portion of the
existing twenty-five foot storm drain easement located on Plat - Section Four,
Lot 17 and Lot 18 Block B, Spring Ridge Subdivision. Edgar Hughston Builder,
Inc. is requesting the existing twenty-five foot storm drain easement be
reduced to a twenty foot storm drain easement in order to build residential
structures on both lots. The storm drain easement would be reduced by two and
one half feet on either side of the property lot line between Lots 17 and 18.

Analysis

The Engineering Department has examined the property and has no objection to
abandoning that portion of the twenty-five foot storm drain easement to reduce
the storm drain easement to twenty feet.
