Authorize the City Manager to execute a Quit Claim Deed to Pinnacle Homes, Inc. \n \n for a portion of an existing storm sewer easement, with an address known as \n \n 7995 Creekland Drive, located on Lot 173, Block "B", Section III, Big Creek \n \n Subdivision.

Background
The Owner/Developer, Pinnacle Homes, Inc. is requesting that a portion of an

existing storm sewer easement for Lot 173, Block "B", Section III, Big Creek

Subdivision located in Land Lot 61, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia, be abandoned and a Quit Claim Deed executed and be relinquished to

the above property owners. The Owner/Developer wishes to construct a house

that is similar to the other houses located in the subdivision. The size of

the existing easement restricts the size structure that can be built on the

lot.
Analysis
The remaining portion of the storm sewer easement meets the City's current

standards and the Engineering Department has no objection to the abandonment of

the portion of the storm sewer easement.
