Recommendation
Approval is requested to execute a Quit Claim Deed to Daniel S. Booth for the \n \n 1346 Sq. Ft. +/- easement located along the unused tract between River Road and \n \n the Right of way of the Norfolk Southern Railroad, (as shown on the attached \n \n Plat ).

Background
The Daniel S. Booth the owner of the business needs the easement directly north

of the property to accommodate the required access for expansion and parking

for the business. Daniel S. Booth the owner of a business on River Road plans

to add office and warehouse space for the purpose of expanding the company (see

attached letter). Mr. Booth is requesting that the City execute a Quit Claim

Deed for all rights, title and interest the City may have in the above

described property in Columbus, Georgia.
Analysis
The Engineering Department request the City insure any utility easements of

record be reserved.

The City attorney has no objection to this action.
Recommendations/ Actions
Authorize the City Manager to execute a Quit Claim Deed to Daniel S. Booth for

that certain easement of unused tract of land being 1346 Sq. Ft. +/- between

River Road and the Right of Way of the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
