Background
Section One, Sugar Mill Subdivision, currently consists of 28 residental lots.

The street has been improved and meets the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been submitted conveying to the City Sugar Mill Drive, Sugar Mill

Court and Candy Lane located in Section One, Sugar Mill Subdivision.

Description of the property is as follows: All those tracts and parcels of

land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and

comprising of Sugar Mill Drive, and a portion of Sugar Mill Court and Candy

Lane in that certain subdivision known as Section One, Sugar Mill Subdivision,

as said street and portions of said streets are shown upon a map or plat of

said subdivision recorded in Plat Book 145, folios 38 & 39, in the Office of

the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and to which map

or plat reference is hereby made for a more particular description of the

streets hereby conveyed.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written Resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting the deed to Sugar Mill Drive, Sugar Mill Court

and Candy Lane located in Section One, Sugar Mill Subdivision.
