That portion of River Crest Drive located in Phase VII, River Crest has six

residential lots. The street has been improved and meets the required

specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of River Crest

Drive located in Phase VII, River Crest . A description of the property is as

follows: All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in

Muscogee County, Georgia, designated as "River Crest Drive", as shown upon a

map or plat entitled "Phase VII, River Crest, Lying in Land Lots 81 & 97, 8th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason &

Vinson, Inc., dated January 6, 2006, and recorded in Plat Book 156, Page 59, of

the records in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia, to which reference is hereby made for a more particular description of

said property.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution by Council.

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of River Crest Drive
