Background

That portion of Ivy Ridge Drive and that portion of Granite Field Drive located

in Section Six Phase Two, Ivy Park and that portion of Ivy Ridge Drive and that

portion of Ivy Park Drive located in Section Four Phase One, Ivy Park has

forty-five residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Ivy Ridge Drive

and that portion of Granite Field Drive located in Section Six Phase Two, Ivy

Park and that portion of Ivy Ridge Drive and that portion of Ivy Park Drive

located in Section Four Phase One, Ivy Park. A description of the property is

as follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Part

of Land Lot 233, of the 19th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and

shwon as Ivy Ridge Drive and Granite Field Drive as said roads and

rights-of-way are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section Six, Phase Two,

Ivy Park, Part of Land Lot 233, 19th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia" prepared by Hobbs, Smith & Associates Inc., dated January 10, 2007,

said plat recorded in Plat Book 159, page 46, in the Office of the Clerk of the

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. And; All those lots, tracts and

parcels of land lying and being in Part of Land Lots 233 and 234, of the 19th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as that portion of Ivy

Park Drive extending into Section Four, Phase One, and Ivy Ridge Drive as said

roads and rights-of-way are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section Four,

Phase One, Ivy Park, Part of Land Lots 233 & 234, 19th District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia" prepared by Hobbs, Smith & Associates Inc., dated

January 2, 2007, said plat recorded in Plat Book 159, page 44 and 45, in the

Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of Ivy Ridge Drive and

that portion of Granite Field Drive located in Section Six Phase Two, Ivy Park

and that portion of Ivy Ridge Drive and that portion of Ivy Park Drive located

in Section Four Phase One, Ivy Park.
