Background
The Traffic Engineering Division received requests to amend the parking

restrictions along Flournoy Drive. The problem found was that the practice of

parking cars on both sides of this roadway eliminated two-way traffic. This

practice also blocks emergency vehicle access.
Analysis
The Traffic Engineering Division surveyed nine (9) property owners in this

area. There were six (6) responses, all concurring. The Traffic Engineer

recommends approval.
Financial Considerations
The cost of installing Official Traffic Control signs will be derived from the

Traffic Engineering operating budget.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement
Legal Considerations
All ordinances require the approval of Columbus Council Approval.

of Flournoy Drive beginning at the south curb of 17th Street and running south
