Spring Walk Drive and that portion of Woodstream Drive located in Phase One,
Riegel Pointe has thirty-six (36) residential lots. The streets have been
improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Spring Walk Drive and that
portion of Woodstream Drive located in Phase One, Riegel Pointe. A description
of the property is as follows: All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate,
lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, designated as "SPRING
WALK DRIVE AND THAT PORTION OF WOODSTREAM DRIVE," as shown upon a map or plat
entitled "Final Plat of Riegel Pointe, Phase One, Part of Land Lot 82, District
8, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Terry D. Becker, RLS No.
2579, of Becker Survey Company, dated January 22, 2009 and recorded in Plat
Book 162, Pages 10-13, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee
County, Georgia.

right-of-way must be accepted by Council.

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Spring Walk Drive and that portion
of Woodstream Drive located in Phase One, Riegel Pointe.
A RESOLUTION
NO. _____
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO SPRING WALK DRIVE AND THAT
PORTION OF WOODSTREAM DRIVE LOCATED IN PHASE ONE, RIEGEL POINTE ON BEHALF OF
COLUMBUS, GEORGIA.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying Spring Walk
Drive and that portion of Woodstream Drive located in Phase One, Riegel Pointe,
a full description of property on said deed; and,
WHEREAS, said streets have been improved and meet the required specifications
for acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends
acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated April 22, 2009, conveying to Columbus, Georgia
Spring Walk Drive and that portion of Woodstream Drive located in Phase One,
Riegel Pointe be and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of Council is
hereby authorized to have said deed recorded in the Deed Records in the Office
of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. A copy of the deed
is hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this resolution.
