Background

The Cricket Community of Columbus has asked to donate a synthetic turf pitch on

a concrete surface with dimensions of 66 feet length and 10 feet width at

Alexander Park located off Veterans Parkway. The building of this will allow

to host and participate in professional and recreational leagues.

Analysis

The estimated cost for this project is in the range of $8,000 to $10,000. The

Columbus Cricket Community has raised all funding necessary for this project.

Financial Considerations

This will be at no cost to the City as it is a private donation.

Legal Considerations

Council must approve the acceptance of this donation.
