Background

The Georgia Department of Driver Services contacted the Deputy City Manager,
Pam Hodge, in reference to utilizing the City's Paving Contract to pave and
restripe the parking lot and tests courses at the driver's license building on
US 80 in Midland. The funding source became available late in the fiscal year
and the funds need to be expended prior to the end of June.

The Georgia Department of Driver Services will be responsible for reimbursement
of expenses for the project.

The anticipated cost of the project is not to exceed $100,000.00
