Background

That portion of Boby Court located in the Sixth Addition to Sun Hill has

twenty-one residential lots. The street has been improved and meets the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Boby Court

located in the Sixth Addition to Sun Hill. A description of the property is as

follows: All that tract and parcel of land situate, lying and being in

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and comprising of that portion of Sixth

Addition to Sun Hill Subdivision, from the existing right of way of Boby Court

in the certain subdivision known as Sixth Addition to Sun Hill Subdivision, as

said portions of said streets are shown upon a map or plat of said subdivision

recorded in Plat Book 159, folio 31 & 32 in the Office of the Clerk of Superior

Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and to which map or plat reference is hereby

made for a more particular description of the street hereby conveyed.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of Boby Court located

in the Sixth Addition to Sun Hill.
