Background
Brooks Crossing Drive located in Brooks Crossing has twenty-one residential

lots. The street has been improved and meets the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Brooks Crossing Drive located in

Brooks Crossing. A description of the property is as follows: All that tract

of parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia, and being known and designated as all of Brooks Crossing Drive as said

street is shown on that certain map or plat entitled "Final Plat of Brooks

Crossing Subdivision lying in Land Lot 60, 8th Land District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by Barrett-Simpson, Inc., dated February 1,

2006, and recorded at Plat Book 158, Page 85, Muscogee County, Georgia records,

to which plat reference is made as to more specific dimensions of said street.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Brooks Crossing Drive located in

Brooks Crossing.
