Background
That portion of Wandering Lane and that portion of Velpoe Drive located in

Section Three, Farrwoods Cove has Twenty-four residential lots. The streets

have been improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the

City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Wandering Lane

and that portion of Velpoe Drive located in Section Three, Farrwoods Cove. A

description of the property is as follows: All that tract or parcel of land

situate, lying and being in Land Lot 126, Coweta Reserve, Columbus, Muscogee

County, Georgia, and being All of Wandering Lane and All of Velpoe Drive lying

and being in Section Three, Farrwoods Cove as shown on the map or plat entitled

"Section Three, Farrwoods Cove, Part of Land Lot 126, Coweta Reserve, Columbus,

Muscogee County Georgia," prepared by Hobbs, Smith & Assoc., Inc., dated April

1, 2006 and recorded in Plat Book 157, Page 24, in the Office of the Clerk of

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year warranty.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of Wandering Lane and

that portion of Velpoe Drive located in Section Three, Farrwoods Cove.
