Background

That portion of Pine Seed Drive, that portion of White Pine Drive and that

portion of Seedling Drive located in Section Seven, Garrett Pines has

Forty-nine residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying That portion of Pine Seed Drive,

that portion of White Pine Drive and that portion of Seedling Drive located in

Section Seven, Garrett Pines. A description of the property is as follows:

All those lots, tracts and parcels of land lying and being in Land Lot 130 &

159 of the 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as all

of Pine Seed Drive, extension of White Pine Drive and extension of Seedling

Drive, lying in Section Seven, Garrett Pines, as said roads and right-of-ways

are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section Seven, Garrett Pines, Part of

Land Lot 130 & 159, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia" prepared

by Hobbs Smith & Assoc., Inc., dated July 21, 2006, said recorded in Plat Book

158, pages 2-3, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee

County, Georgia.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to That portion of Pine Seed Drive,

that portion of White Pine Drive and that portion of Seedling Drive located in

Section Seven, Garrett Pines.
