A portion of Helen Drive located in Section 3 Block E, Buckfield has seven (7)
residential lots. The street has been improved and has met the required
specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Helen Drive
located in Section 3 Block E, Buckfield. A description of the property is as
follows: All that lot, tract of parcel of land situate, lying and being in
Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, designated as "Helen Drive," as shown upon
a map or plate entitled "Corrective Plat, Section 3, Block 'E,' Buckfield,
Lying in Land Lot 62, 8th District, Muscogee County, Georgia", prepared by
Terry D. Becker, RLS No. 2579, of Becker Survey Company, dated May 26, 2006 and
recorded in Plat Book 161, Page 225 in the Office of the Clerk of Superior
Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

A RESOLUTION
NO. _____
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO THAT PORTION OF HELEN
DRIVE LOCATED IN SECTION THREE, BLOCK E, BUCKFIELD, ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS,
GEORGIA.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying that portion of
Helen Drive located in Section Three, Block E, Buckfield, a full description of
property on said deed; and,
WHEREAS, said street has been improved and meets the required specifications
for acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends
acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated January 15, 2009, conveying to Columbus,
Georgia that portion of Helen Drive located in Section Three, Block E,
Buckfield be and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of Council is hereby
authorized to have said deed recorded in the Deed Records in the Office of the
Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. A copy of the deed is
hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this resolution.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the council of Columbus, Georgia, held the
________ day of ___________, 2009 and adopted at said meeting by the
affirmative vote of ______members of said Council.
