Background
The Bike Shop has recently opened a business at this address to provide
services to those citizens utilizing the Trace. In order to better serve those
utilizing the Trace, the business has requested a direct access with a 60 foot
easement across the trail.
Analysis
Authorizing this easement would provide a safe passage to this property for
those on the Trace. In providing this easement, the owners have been made
aware that they will need to provide and maintain a landscaped area as shown on
Exhibit "A".
Financial Considerations
There are no financial requirements to the City in granting this easement. The
owners will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of a landscaped
area along the Trace.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement
There are no projected annual fiscal impact anticipated with this authorization
of this easement.
Legal Considerations
The City Attorney has no objections to the granting of this easement.
