Background

Silver Lake Drive, Silver Lake Court and Red Maple Way located in Silver Lake

has seventy residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Silver Lake Drive, Silver Lake

Court and Red Maple Way located in Silver Lake. A description of the property

is as follows: All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being

in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, designated as "Silver Lake Drive, Silver

Lake Court and Red Maple Way, as shown upon a map or plat entitled Silver Lake,

Lying in Land Lots 62, 79 & 80, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia, prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., dated February 18,

2006, and recorded in Plat Book 156, Page 100, 101 and 102 in the Office of the

Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
