Background

Kingsberry Court, Kingsberry Lane, that portion of Acme Drive and that portion

of Rinehart Drive located in Section Four, Moonlake has fifty-two residential

lots. The streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for

acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Kingsberry Court, that portion

of Kingsberry Lane, that portion of Acme Drive and that portion of Rinehart

Drive located in Section Four, Moonlake. A description of the property is as

follows: All those tracts and parcels of land situate, lying and being in the

State of Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being known and

designated on that certain map or plat entitled "Final Plat, Phase IV, Moonlake

Subdivision, Lying in Land Lot 11, 9th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia", dated November 26, 2006, revised January 8, 2007, made by Becker

Survey Company, and recorded in Plat Book 159, Pages 50 and 51, in the office

of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which

reference is made for more specific dimensions of Kingsberry Court, Kingsberry

Lane, that portion of Acme Drive and that portion of Rinehart Drive located in

Section Four, Moonlake.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Kingsberry Court, Kingsberry Lane,

that portion of Acme Drive and that portion of Rinehart Drive located in

Section Four, Moonlake.
