Background
These streets are contained within the Housing Authority Development. Staff has

been unable to locate where these streets were formally accepted by Council.
Analysis
The streets have been utilized as public streets and the City has exercised

authority by adoption of two (2) ordinances, one (1) Ordinance #70-217

establishing "thru Street" and stop condition at Albion Way and Victory

Apartment Way and one (1) Ordinance #76-118, name change of Victory Apartment

Way to Alvah H. Chapman Way. In order to clear title and to expedite

redevelopment of the area, Council action is requested related to these

streets.
Financial Considerations
Streets have been maintained as public streets. Correct signage will be

installed if necessary and paid for out of the Traffic Engineering's Operation

Budget.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement
Normal maintenance will be required as with other public streets.
Legal Considerations
Accept a Quitclaim deed in order to clear title so the streets can be

designated as public.

Approve the acceptance of a Quitclaim Deed to Alvah H. Chapman Way and that

portion of Albion Way and the designation of Alvah H. Chapman Way and that

portion of Albion Way as public streets.
