Almond Woods Drive and Almond Woods Court located in Almond Woods Subdivision

has seven residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Almond Woods Drive and Almond

Woods Court located in Almond Woods Subdivision. A description of the property

is as follows: All that tract and parcel of land situate, lying and being in

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and comprising of that portion of Almond

Woods Subdivision from the existing right of way to Almond Road in that certain

subdivision known as Almond Woods and containing Almond Woods Drive and Almond

Woods Court, as said streets are shown upon a map or plat of said subdivision

recorded in Plat Book 159, folio 56 in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior

Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and to which map or plat reference is hereby

made for a more particular description of the streets hereby conveyed.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
