Background

The Georgia Department of Transportation will assist the City of Columbus,
Georgia in re-surfacing various parking lots for the Muscogee County School
District (see attached list).

Analysis
-
The Georgia Department of Transportation assists in County Contracts by paying
a portion of the cost for re-surfacing parking lots for School Districts.

Financial Considerations
-
There will be no cost to the City Government. A portion of this bid will be
paid by the State and the Muscogee School District will reimburse the City for
the difference. The dollar amount is unknown until after the School District
goes through their bid process.
