Approval is requested for the acceptance of the donation of parcel 109 001 013A \n \n lying due south of lots 1 "A" a/k/a 7200 Springbrook Drive--on Tax Map 109 001 \n \n 058 (.07 Acres +/-) and Lot 1 "B" a/k/a 7201 Springbrook Drive--on Tax Map 109 \n \n 001 057 (.05 Acres +/-) and Warm Springs Road and Springbrook Drive to the City \n \n in Columbus, Georgia (see attached plat).

Background

The developers of Springbrook Crossing would like to donate parcel 109 001

013A lying due south of lot 1 "A" (.07 Acres +/-) and Lot 1 "B" (.05 Acres +/-)

a/k/a 109 001 057 and 058 and Warm Springs Road and Springbrook Drive (see

attached maps). These parcels are no longer needed by the owner and the City

wishes to accept the parcel for future road widening opportunities.

Analysis

This property is to be donated to the City, said acceptance is in the best

interest of the City.

Financial Considerations

The property is to be donated at no cost to the City.

Legal Considerations

Council must approve the acceptance of real estate. Property will be

transferred by Warranty Deed.
