Background
Rie Court, Ella Court, Carolann Court and that portion of R C Allen Drive

located in Pierce Crossing has Thirty-nine residential lots. The streets have

been improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Rie Court, Ella Court, Carolann

Court and that portion of R C Allen Drive located in Pierce Crossing. A

description of the property is as follows: All those tracts and parcels of

land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and

comprising of that portion of R. C. Allen Drive from the existing right of way,

Rie Court, Ella Court and Carolann Court in that certain subdivision known as

Pierce Crossing, as said streets are shown upon a map or plat of said

subdivision recorded in Plat Book 158, folios 91 & 92 in the office of the

Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and to which map or

plat reference is hereby made for a more particular description of the street

hereby conveyed.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Rie Court, Ella Court, Carolann

Court and that portion of R C Allen Drive located in Pierce Crossing.
