Background

Fortson Court located in Fortson Service Park has Five Commercial lots. The

street has been improved and meets the required specifications for acceptance

by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Fortson Court located in Fortson

Service Park. A description of the property is as follows: All that tract or

parcel of land situate, lying and being in Land Lot 271 of the 19th Land

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being that certain road and

road right-of-way, more particularly described as all of Fortson Court, as

shown on the map or plat entitled "Fortson Service Park Lying in Land Lot 271,

19th District Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia", dated December 22, 2005,

prepared by Webb Engineering & Surveying, Inc., recorded in Plat Book 156, Page

75, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be dedicated by Council.

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Fortson Court located in Fortson
