Background
With the construction of a new elementary school , we need to provide for a

stop-gap solution to resolve the congestion that is expected to occur when the

school opens this coming school year.
Analysis
The project is in progress and arrangements for an additional payment are

being requested. To continue with this project in an expeditious manner, we

will make payment for utility relocation, right of way/easement acquisition and

attorney fees.
Financial Considerations
Funding for the $16,771.12 for Utility Relocation, $123,614.00 for Right of

Way/Easement Acquisition and $5,000.00 for attorney fees, for a total estimated

cost of $145,385.12 is available in the Veterans Parkway SPLOST project #50319.

Legal Considerations
The City Attorney has no issue with this request.
