Background

The construction of Williams Road Improvement, Project #M-8059(2), between

Fortson Road and Veterans Parkway by GDOT provided a Limited Access

Right-of-Way allowing only six (6) breaks in the right-of-way for driveway

access. The Department of Engineering has received requests to allow

additional breaks in the right-of-way for new driveways that will serve

commercial development.

Analysis

Council has approved previous request as requested. Drawings are attached

showing the proposed locations.

Financial Considerations

There are no costs to the City. The approved permit fees will be paid by the

Developers.

There are no fiscal impacts for approval of this request.

Legal Considerations

Changes to the Limited Access Designation requires Council action.
