Background
-
As per the Francise agreement , the Georgia Power Untilities along Whittlesey
Road are non-remembursable therefore does not create an expense to the City.
The Georgia Power Utilties along Veterans Parkway is on Georgia Department
State Route and is not covered under the Francise Agreement because the propert
is State Property. In the Local Government Project Agreement the City is
responsible for Right of Way for said project (to exclude the Right of Way on
Veterans Parkway that the GDOT reembursed the city $3.000.000.00 for Right of
Way on Veterans Parkway parcells).and Utility Relocation
-
Analysis
-
Because the City is responsible for Utility Relocation cost the City is exposed
to $249,403.00 on one Agreement and $516,805.00 for the other. Both agreements
cannot exceed that amount and could be a lower amount after it is all said and
done.
