Background
That portion of Royal Street located in Section Four, Dawson Estates has Six

residential lots. The street has been improved and meets the required

specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Royal Street

located in Section Four, Dawson Estates. A description of the property is as

follows: All that tract and parcel of land situate, lying and being in

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and comprising of that portion of Royal

Street from the existing right of way in that certain subdivision known as

Addition to Section Four, Dawson Estates, as said street is shown upon a map of

plat of said subdivision recorded in Plat Book 156, folio 119 in the office of

the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and to which map

or plat reference is hereby made for a more particular description of the

street hereby conveyed.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Royal Street located in Addition to

Section Four, Dawson Estates.
