Background

: Susan Durham is closing her Curves facility in Cataula. A representative

from Columbus Regional notified the department that Mrs. Durham wants to donate

her exercise equipment to an organization that could possibility benefit from

its use.

Analysis

Parks and Recreation is requesting to receive the exercise equipment to be

distributed amongst the Recreation Centers and Senior Centers.

Financial Considerations

This will be at no cost to the City as it is a private donation.

Legal Considerations

Council must approve the acceptance of this donation.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the donation of the exercise equipment from Mrs. Susan Durham to be

used by all participants who visit our Recreation and Senior Centers.
