That portion of Grove Park Drive located in Section Two is part of the Grove

Park Commercial Development. The street has been improved and meets the

required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Grove Park Drive

located in Section Two, Grove Park Commercial Development. A description of

the property is as follows: All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying

and being in Part of Land Lot 61 of the 8th land District, Columbus, Muscogee

County, Georgia and being certain roads and road right-of-ways, more

particularly described as that part of Grove Park Drive shown as Tract One

2.488 AC. and Tract Two .0149 AC., as shown on the map or plat entitled

"Right-of-way Survey, Part of Land Lot 61, 8th District, Columbus, Muscogee

County, Georgia", dated March 22, 2006, prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason &

Vinson, Inc., surveyors, recorded in Plat Book 157, Page 6, in the Office of

the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of Grove Park located

in Grove Park Drive located in Section Two, Grove Park Commercial Development.
