Approval is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with Columbus \n \n Technical College to allow Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic Students \n \n to obtain clinical experience by riding City ambulances.

Background

Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services has historically offered our

ambulances and skilled workforce to educate students from within as well as

surrounding educational institutions.

Analysis

Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services will provide the ambulance and

oversight of training to Students of Columbus Technical College.

Financial Considerations

There is no cost incurred for the Columbus Consolidated Government.

Agreement.

Recommendations/ Actions

Authorize the City Manger to accept the Memorandum of Agreement between

Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services and Columbus Technical College for

the coordinated clinical experience in the Students' field of study.
