Background

That portion of Ivy Park Drive and that portion of English Ivy Drive located in

Phase I, Ivy Park have fourteen residential lots. These streets have been

improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the City.

Analysis

A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Ivy Park Drive

and that portion of English Ivy Drive located in Phase I, Ivy Park. A

description of the property is as follows: All those lots, tracts and parcels

of land lying and being in Land Lot 233, of the 19th District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown as Ivy Park Drive and English Ivy Drive as

said roads and rights-of-way are shown on the map or plat entitled "Section

One, Ivy Park, Part of Land Lot 233, 19th District, Columbus, Muscogee County,

Georgia" prepared by Hobbs, Smith & Associates, Inc., dated May 1, 2006, said

plat recorded in Plat Book 157, page 45, in the Office of the Clerk of the

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

Financial Considerations

No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty.

Legal Considerations

In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by Council.

Recommendations/ Actions

Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to That portion of Ivy Park Drive and

that portion of English Ivy Drive located in Phase I, Ivy Park.
