the required specifications for acceptance by the City.

A deed has been conveyed to the City Conveying Gaines Creek Drive/Green Island
Drive Cul-de-sac. A description of the property is noted in deed as Exhibit
"A" and shown on map or plat entitled "Right of Way Dedication Plat, lying in
land lot 96, 8th District, Muscogee County, Columbus,Georgia dated July 17,
2007 made by Jordan Jones & Goulding, and recorded in Plat Book 160, page 83,
in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

A RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO GAINES CREEK DRIVE/GREEN
ISLAND DRIVE CUL-DE-SAC ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying Gaines Creek
Drive/Green Island Drive Cul-de-sac, a full description of property on said
deed; and,
WHEREAS, said street has been improved and meets the required specifications
for acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends
acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES AS
FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated August 31, 2007, conveying to Columbus, Georgia Gaines
Creek Drive/Green Island Drive Cul-de-sac be and the same is hereby accepted.
The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded in the
Deed Records in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County,
Georgia. A copy of deed is hereto attached and by this reference made a part of
this resolution.
