Background
That portion of Travelers Way located in Section Four, Kings Trail has fourteen

residential lots. The street has been improved and meets the required

specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis
A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of Travelers Way

located in Section Four, Kings Trail. A description of the property is as

follows: All those tracts and parcels of land situate, lying and being in Land

Lot 18, 18th District, the State of Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of

Columbus, and being known and designated on that certain map or plat entitled

"Section Four, King's Trail, Lying in Land Lot 18, 18th District, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia" prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc., under

date of January 5, 2006, a copy of same being recorded in Plat Book 156, Folios

77-78, of the records in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of

Muscogee County, Georgia, to which plat reference is hereby made for more

specific dimensions, as the following herein described streets, to-wit: All of

Travelers Way and any cul de sac adjacent to said street, all as shown on the

aforesaid plat.
Financial Considerations
No City funds are involved until maintenance is assumed after the two-year

warranty expires.

Legal Considerations
In accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all dedicated

right-of-ways must be accepted by written resolution of Council.
Recommendations/ Actions
Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that portion of Travelers Way

located in Section Four, Kings Trail.
